Gina Gallo, winemaker. 1933. Our family has been growing grapes and making wine in California for nearly 80 years, and our vineyards are our most precious asset. We farm for the future, to let the land speak through the wines while we preserve each unique place for generations yet to come. Beginning in 1934, our grandfather Julio Gallo bought grapes from Napa Valley growers to use in our wines, and we have followed his vision of quality and value throughout the decades. We continue to enjoy family-to-family relationships with these local vineyard owners, and now our own vineyards in Napa also provide Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this Signature Series wine. - Gina Gallo, winemaker.
